Whitireia Music Student Bands

Whitireia music students from the certificate and degree programmes who are studying music at the new Te Auaha creative arts centre, a few doors down from Capital Blues club, will be bringing blues from Taj Mahal, Garry Moore, BB King, The Doors and more with a dash of Funk, Rock and Reggae.

Students cover a variety of music genre as part of their study and have the opportunity to perform in various venues around Wellington. Six bands will feature involving some students who are already performing with various groups around Wellington while for some, this will be their first public performance.

We thank Capital Blues Club for supporting this night of student bands from Whitireia.
