Friday, 4 June 2021 @ 8:30 pm - 11:00 pm
The 888 Band feature top Kiwi musicians/singers Michael Stirling and Geoffry Hern. Add Andrew Richardson on drums and Deane Hunter on guitar to the mix and you have one of the best ensembles EVER! Truly stellar musicians, and tonight they’re joined by André Paris on Saxophone…
And here’s a bit more about André:
Originally from Auckland New Zealand, Andre Paris has been involved with music since picking up the alto saxophone at age 9. During his school years he was a member of the Aotea Youth Symphony and Queen City Big Band, performed with the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra as well as winning Most Outstanding Saxophonist at the annual Tauranga jazz festival.

He has played numerous concerts and recordings around the Wellington region and beyond, covering a wide range of music including small group jazz, big bands, dance/wedding bands, salsa, original dub/reggae groups, musicals and concert band music.
