Pip Payne and Neil Billington Blues Band

Pip Payne, master of the resonator (Dobro style) slide guitar, and New Zealand’s best blues and chromatic harmonica player, Neil Billington, are playing again for Capital Blues. Their show was so hot last time, we brought them back for you.

They will be appearing with a killer rhythm section laying down some fat grooves, with Darren Mathiassen on drums and Elliot Fuimaono on bass.

These two play truly authentic down-home, and Chicago-style blues with some really clever arrangements of some standard rock numbers.  It’s what The Stones should have sounded like.
