The Students from Wellington’s School of Music with their tutor & mentor Rodger Fox once again grace the stage at the Hotel Bristol with their talent- horn section- vocals- guitars- drums/bass… it’s all there.
A great night for that Big Band sound, and a great chance for the students to perform live in front of an audience.

After moving from Palmerston North, Free Beer and Cash are new to the scene in Wellington. Even though they’ve only playing together for a small amount of time, they have already gigged rigorously and have a South Island tour organised for later on in the year. Their set list includes covers from artists such as: Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Lee Hooker, and Thomas Oliver. Blues Buffet is a rocking, tasty, full-on, blues band from Wanganui. They often back Erna Ferry. Playing a powerful brand of blues and soul, No Idea (the Fuimaono Family Band) has three vocalists, a rhythm section and two guitars. Band leader and bass player Elliotte Fuimaono (pictured above) is a legend at Roomfulla Blues.
