Bringing a distinct Aotearoan sound to psychedelic rock, People Of The Sun aspires to create music that eschews commercial trends, in favour of emotional connectedness and authenticity. The trio has a cathartic, emotive, dynamic, and powerful live and recorded performance.

Honouring the diverse musical influences throughout their lives, the band is determined to ground their music in their own raw, vulnerable lived experiences. People Of The Sun is also heavily inspired by indigenous music and its traditions as a vessel for transformation and healing.

Their debut, self-titled album – mixed by Lee Prebble at The Surgery and mastered by Mike Gibson, will see People Of The Sun join the ranks of the Aotearoa music scene with full force.
