Thursday, 6 September 2018 @ 8:30 pm - 11:30 pm
After nearly a year away, David Feehan returns with his fantastic 12 piece band to Roomfulla Blues with its own brand of R&B/Soul and Jazz Tinged Blues. New tunes plus a few favourites they haven’t played for a while, for your listening/dancing pleasure. With 5 great singers in the band there’s lots of variety for everyone, from Little Feat, Steely Dan, Sharon Jones, Shemekia Copeland, Joe Cocker, to Dukes Of September, Lizz Wright and Aretha, plus some great Brit Blues.
With David Feehan’s 70thbirthday coming up, this is a celebration of one of NZs top international male contemporary singers, featuring tonnes of vocal harmonies, a stunning 3-piece horn section, and lots of fun.
Of course, you can’t come and hear the David Feehan Band without hearing some of the tracks off his two recent albums, the “Cuatro” album, released 2015, “Bronze” album released 2009, and a sneak preview of new material which will appear on his latest album ‘5’ to be released on 14th October 2018.
