Dave Feehan band featuring opening band Lamb Hunters

To start the year off with a Big Glorious Sound, Dave Feehan leads his band through favourite soul, blues and rock numbers. His duet with the divine Ms Lamb will be a knockout, and his tribute to Etta James- may she rest peacefully in music heaven- is from the heart.

It’s a big band with a sophisticated sound.

If you like Tony Joe White and Mississippi Hill Country music, you’ll love The Al Witham Band.

A long time regular performer at the Blues Club, Al is back – red hot and raring to go. He plays original songs from his two albums; his latest album Faultline has gained much critical acclaim. He also plays guitar driven blues with a country feel and covers the blues of John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters, amongst many.

November 24 There’s always a party atmosphere on ‘open mic’ nights – a mixed bag of styles and musicians. Capital Blues provides a tasty backing band and the amps are kindly provided by Peter Matich, who is selling them, so get up and try them out. See the MCs for the night, Carol Bean and Julie Lamb, for a spot onstage.

This year Kokomo are getting back to their roots. Celebrating their 20th year together as a band, they have recorded a new album called It All Comes Round. They are returning to the original Kokomo Blues line-up of the early nineties; an acoustic trio exploring early Delta blues and ragtime, with a scattering of contemporary Kiwi blues and oddities from through the years.
